even if... (casual) / no matter how...
Structure
V-た形 + たって；N + だって
Explanation
The casual contraction of ても, "even if...". Attaches to verb ta-forms (たって) or nouns (だって). E.g., 急いだって、間に合わないよ.
Examples
急いだって、もう間に合わないよ。
Even if you hurry, you won't make it now.
今さら謝ったって、遅いですよ。
Apologizing now is too late.
Note
たって is the casual contraction of ても, same meaning but informal.
