Structure
V/い形容詞（普通形） + らしい；N + らしい
Explanation
Two uses: ① Hearsay/inference: attached to plain verb/adjective forms or nouns, indicating a judgment based on reported information or objective evidence, "apparently..."; ② Typical traits: attached to a noun, meaning "having the typical qualities of...", e.g. 男らしい, 春らしい. Conjugates like an い-adjective.
Examples
田中さんは今日は会社を休むらしいです。
Apparently Tanaka is taking the day off from work today.
春らしい暖かい日が続いています。
Warm, spring-like days continue.
Note
らしい (hearsay) cannot be used for things the speaker personally experienced. Similar to そうだ (hearsay), but らしい carries more nuance of inference.
