どう/いかが + ですか / V-ますか

Explanation

Asks about state, opinion, or suggestion. どう is general, いかが is more polite. Also used for invitations and offers.

Examples

天気はどうですか。

How is the weather?

お茶はいかがですか。

How about some tea?

Note

いかが is the honorific form of どう, common in business/service. どうぞ (please) shares the same root as どう.
