Explanation
A very polite, indirect request (I would be grateful if you could...). The んですが ending leaves room for refusal.
Examples
お忙しいところ恐れ入りますが、この書類をご確認いただけるとありがたいんですが。
I'm sorry to trouble you when you're busy, but I'd be grateful if you could check this document.
明日までにお返事いただけるとありがたいんですが。
I'd appreciate it if you could reply by tomorrow.
Note
The んですが ending softens the request. More polite and indirect than ていただけませんか.
