普通形 + ようで（実際は〜）
Explanation
Appearance and reality contrast: it seems like the first clause, but actually it is not so. Often as 〜ようで (実際は) 〜ない.
Examples
この問題は簡単なようで、実は難しい。
This problem looks easy, but it's actually hard.
彼は冷静なようで、実はとても繊細だ。
He seems calm, but he's actually very sensitive.
Note
Often pairs with 実は/実際は to contrast appearance and reality. Similar to そうで.
