Structure
V-辞書形/ている + ようでは；N + の + ようでは
Explanation
If the first (undesirable) state holds, something bad will follow; the main clause is negative or critical. Attached to the dictionary/te-iru form of verbs or noun + の.
Examples
これくらいで諦めるようでは、成功は無理だ。
If you give up at this level, you'll never succeed.
毎日遅刻するようでは、会社に信頼されない。
If you're late every day, the company won't trust you.
Note
The main clause is usually negative (無理だ, いけない, 困る). Compared with ようなら, ようでは is more critical.
