Structure
V-辞書形 / V-ない形 + つもりだ
Explanation
Indicates the speaker's intention, "intend to...". Attaches to the dictionary/nai-form + つもりだ. Similar to ようと思う but more explicit.
Examples
来月から、毎日運動するつもりです。
I intend to exercise every day starting next month.
今年は海外旅行には行かないつもりです。
I don't plan to travel abroad this year.
Note
つもりだ states intention clearly; the question つもりですか asks about plans.
