Explanation
Indicates that there is no way to do something, "there's no way to...". Attaches to the masu-stem + ようがない.

連絡先がわからないから、知らせようがない。
Since I don't know the contact info, there's no way to notify them.

ようがない means "there's no way to"; distinguish from しかない and ざるを得ない.
