Structure
V-ない形（語幹）+ ずとも
Explanation
The written form of ないでも, "even without doing...". Attaches to the nai-stem + ずとも (言わずともわかる).
Examples
彼の気持ちは、聞かずともわかります。
I understand his feelings even without asking.
彼は言われずとも、自分から動きます。
He acts on his own even without being told.
Note
ずとも is written style, equivalent to ないでも; rarely used in speech.
