V-て形 + ばかり(いる)

Explanation

Verb te-form + ばかり(いる) expresses repeating the same action or staying in a state, "always doing...", often with a tone of complaint or criticism.

Examples

彼は文句を言ってばかりいます。

He's always complaining.

テレビを見てばかりいると、目が悪くなりますよ。

If you keep watching TV, your eyes will get worse.

Note

〜てばかりいる is close to 〜ばかり but emphasizes repetition. In speech 〜てばっかり is common. Don't confuse it with 〜たばかり.
