Explanation
The humble of 知っている for one's own knowledge (そのことは存じております), more formal and modest than 知っています.
Examples
その件については、よく存じております。
I'm well aware of that matter.
私はその会社を存じています。
I know that company.
Note
存じている is the humble of 知っている: 存じる for your own knowledge, ご存知です for the other person's.
