Explanation
Whether A or B, the main clause is the same. E.g., 学生であれ教師であれ、規則は守るべきだ.
Examples
学生であれ社会人であれ、礼儀は大切だ。
Whether student or worker, manners matter.
雨であろうと風であろうと、練習は続ける。
Whether it rains or blows, we'll keep practicing.
Note
Synonymous with にせよ〜にせよ/にしろ〜にしろ. The main clause is usually a universal judgment.
