Explanation
N + でもしたら: if the (bad) event should happen...; the main clause is usually worry or a bad result.
Examples
無理をして事故でもしたら、大変だ。
If you push yourself and get into an accident, it'd be terrible.
電車に乗り遅れでもしたら、会議に間に合わない。
If I miss the train, I won't make the meeting.

Similar to でもしようものなら. The main clause is often worry (大変だ, 困る).
