Explanation
No matter what the first clause is, the main clause stays the same. Attached to the volitional form of verbs, often with どんなに/誰が.
Examples
誰に何と言われようが、私は自分の信念を貫く。
No matter what anyone says, I'll stick to my beliefs.
どんなに反対されようと、この計画は実行する。
No matter how much it's opposed, I'll carry out this plan.
Note
Synonymous with ても but more literary. Often paired with question words like 誰が/どんなに/何を.
