Structure
普通形 + 反面；N + の + 反面；な形 + な + 反面
Explanation
Contrasts two aspects of the same thing: on the one hand..., on the other hand... Attached to noun + の, na-adjective + な, i-adjectives, or the dictionary form of verbs.
Examples
この仕事は給料が高い反面、責任も重い。
This job pays well, but on the other hand, the responsibility is heavy.
この車は燃費がいい反面、パワーが弱い。
This car is fuel-efficient, but on the other hand it lacks power.
Note
The subject must be the same thing, with contrasting aspects. Formal. 半面 is an alternate writing.
