Structure
V-辞書形 + ことは + V-辞書形 + が；い形 + ことは + い形 + が
Explanation
A concessive pattern: the same verb or adjective is repeated in the first clause to concede a point, then the main clause raises a contrary opinion or shortcoming (e.g., 行くことは行くが、ちょっと遅れる).
Examples
行くことは行くが、少し遅くなるかもしれない。
I will go, but I might be a little late.
おいしいことはおいしいが、値段が高すぎる。
It's tasty, I admit, but it's too expensive.
Note
The same word is repeated in the first clause to concede a point. For negatives, use 〜ことは〜が、〜ない.
