Structure
V-ない形 + 限り（は）
Explanation
Indicates that as long as the first condition does not hold, the second will not happen; the main clause is usually negative or assertive. Attached to the nai-form of verbs (謝らない限り、許してもらえないだろう).
Examples
練習しない限り、上手になれない。
As long as you don't practice, you won't improve.
彼が謝らない限り、許すつもりはない。
Unless he apologizes, I don't intend to forgive him.
Note
The main clause is usually negative (〜ない, できない) or assertive. The negative of 限り(は), frequently tested at N2.
