Explanation

From the standpoint of the person or group in the noun, here is how they think or how things look. Attached to nouns referring to people or organizations.

Examples

学生にしたら、この規則は不便だろう。

From a student's perspective, this rule is probably inconvenient.

会社にすれば、人件費を減らしたいのが本音だ。

For the company, the real wish is to cut labor costs.

Note

Similar to から見れば and として; the three forms are basically interchangeable.
