Structure

V-辞書形 + ことはない

Explanation

Indicates that there is no need to do something, "there is no need to...". Attaches to the dictionary form. Can also mean "it won't happen".

Examples

心配することはありません。きっとうまくいきます。

There's no need to worry; it'll work out.

そんなに急ぐことはないよ。まだ時間があるから。

No need to hurry; there's still time.

Note

ことはない means "no need to" or "it won't happen". In speech ことはないよ reassures the other person.
