Structure
V-て形 + はならない
Explanation
Indicates prohibition, "must not...". Attaches to the te-form + はならない, more formal/written than てはいけない.
Examples
病院の中では、携帯電話を使ってはなりません。
You must not use your phone inside the hospital.
この情報は、外部に漏らしてはならない。
This information must not be leaked outside.
Note
てはならない is more formal/written than てはいけない, common in rules and notices.
