Explanation
Emotion adjective + 限りだ: beyond measure / extremely. E.g., 嬉しい限りだ, 残念な限りだ.
Examples
皆さんにお祝いしていただき、嬉しい限りです。
I am extremely happy to be congratulated by everyone.
このたびの失敗は、残念な限りです。
This failure is most regrettable.
Note
Only emotion adjectives (嬉しい, 残念, 心強い, etc.). Don't confuse with 〜限り (as long as).
