V-辞書形 + ために；N + の + ために
Explanation
Dictionary form + ために marks purpose, "in order to..."; noun + の + ために marks purpose or reason, "for... / because of..." (e.g., 健康のために、毎日運動する).
Examples
健康のために、毎日運動しています。
I exercise every day for my health.
日本で働くために、日本語を勉強しています。
I'm studying Japanese in order to work in Japan.
Note
The subject of a ために purpose clause must match the main clause. When it marks a reason, the result is often negative. Unlike ように, ために requires the same subject.
