Structure
V-辞書形 / V-ない形 + といい
Explanation
Dictionary/nai-form + といい expresses a wish or suggestion, same as たらいい/ばいい. 〜といいですね is for wishing; 〜といいですよ for advising.
Examples
明日は晴れるといいですね。
I hope it's sunny tomorrow.
疲れているなら、休むといいですよ。
If you're tired, you should rest.
Note
といい expresses a wish or advice: 〜といいですね for wishes, 〜といいですよ for advice. Roughly synonymous with たらいい and ばいい.
